Wacky Hair and Wheels Day

The school Student Council organised a Wacky Hair and Wheels Day for yesterday, 21st May. Lots of people turned up with crazy hairstyles, even the teachers! Five lucky students from each class won Lone Star vouchers for their creative efforts.
During lunchtime students could ride bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades on the courts, they raced remote controlled vehicles in the hall and started to race bikes on the course set up on the field. Unfortunately some of the activities were cut short because of the rain. Thanks to the students who organised this event - it was heaps of fun.

Room 6 Nature Paintings

Mrs Wichman randomly handed out photos about nature for us to reproduce using acrylic paint.Firstly we traced the picture onto another piece of paper then we painted the details. We had to try to get the right colours and textures of the original photograph. It was quite a challenge trying to mix the colours to get them right, and to get the tiny details accurate. We were surprised with how good our results were.
